RutGuard 4" Geocell made it possible to construct a building foundation and driveway addition to access it, in this once muddy area. By using geocell, water runoff is able to drain from the area while the cells hold the gravel in place, preventing erosion and ruts when the area is saturated. Through confining the gravel, structure is added to the material, and a solid foundation is provided for vehicular traffic. RutGuard™ creates a mattress effect, spreading the weight of the load laterally, instead of down into the subgrade, eliminating ruts and future maintenance hassles.
