RutGuard 4" panels were laid directly atop a sloped profile of a bank on a West Virginia property to reinforce the slope and provide erosion control protection.
After preparing the sub-base to ensure that the slope was even and smooth, the geocell panels were staked out and filled with a sod mixture to support grass growth. Once the grass began to grow and vegetation was established, the slope began a grassy, reinforced hillside, strong enough to withstand erosion, and permeable enough to allow water to flow and drain freely down the bank.
