Slightly over 2,000sf of grass protection mesh was freshly installed in the trails throughout the Chicago Botanic Garden for the garden's annual holiday Lightscape event. The 3' wide grass mesh rolls were rolled directly atop the lush grass after being mowed and have been left to let the grass grow up through the mesh.
The pathways where the mesh was installed will be frequented by the foot traffic from visitors that come to see the beautiful lights from mid-November through January. More photos will be updated throughout the Lightscape event to show the progress over time.
