To control mud and promote proper drainage to hold the gravel in place for the base area of a greenhouse space, 3" Geocell panels were filled with a crushed, angular gravel. The geocell panel itself is mostly open area because of the nearly 12" holes or cell openings that make up the panel. This creates an open system from top to bottom. Because of this, permeability is more-so depedent on the type of infill used, which is why in this case a crushed, angular gravel was used to allow water to drain freely through the system.
