RutGuard 3" and 4" Geocell are commonly used in areas that are frequented by passenger vehicular traffic, such as gravel driveways, parking spaces, property roads, etc. This homeowner in Massachusetts used 4" tall geocell to reinforce the gravel parking area outside of their garage. After preparing the area, a layer of geotextile fabric was installed before expanding and filling the RutGuard panels.
The area is now prepared for immediate use, and will provide a solid foundation to not only withstand vehicular and foot traffic, but also reduce erosion, washout, and routine maintenance commonly performed in unpaved, gravel surfaces.
